Questions
Common parent questions
How much does tutoring cost?
One-on-one tutoring is $89 + GST per 1-hour session — one price across every year level, K-12. Group tutoring is $59 + GST per student per 1-hour session. Head Start and Test Prep Sessions are separate programs with their own pricing.
Do tutors use real past tests?
For many senior subjects, Tutoring Tree has real past assessments from Canberra schools. Where a relevant paper is available, tutors can work through it during sessions so students know what to expect before test day.
Do you offer in-home tutoring in Canberra?
Yes. In-home tutoring is a core part of Tutoring Tree where tutor availability and location align. Online tutoring is also available where it suits the student.
What year levels do you support?
Tutoring Tree supports students from Kindergarten to Year 12, with especially strong demand for high school and senior maths.
How do you match tutors?
Students are matched based on year level, subject, goals, location, availability, and the kind of tutor personality likely to work well for them.
Is the first step an online booking?
The best first step is a free consultation or enquiry. That lets Tutoring Tree understand the student and recommend the right support before sessions start.
